Download these PDFs from kind over matter and frame them for your kid's room or family room. Maybe a shower or bday gift? I don't know, you tell me. I love them though and I'm going to print them all off and put them in my daughter's room. It's in desperate need of personality, she loves animals and I have big plans for her to become literate. So, win-win!
If you have a window that needs a little privacy but you don't want to lose the light, this DIY idea is for you. If you're confident in your artistic abilities, you can use a paint pen and draw right on the glass. Otherwise you can use contact paper. This idea is courtesy of Design*Sponge. Maybe you can't afford that large scale art piece that you dream of *yet* but that doesn't mean that you should have an empty, lonely wall. Click here to see how Canadian House and Home says you can turn your photos into art using a painted corkboard and your black and white pics.
I love wallpaper. There are a million things you can do with wallpaper without making your house look like your Grandmother's house. Or like a house on Coronation Street. All the houses on that show are covered in wallpaper! Anyway, a little can go a long way and wallpaper remnants are much more affordable than papering a whole room (or house!).
Easy and cheap ideas: told you so!
